Logged visits for ramblingbadgers
A simple climb from Wessenden Head Road and we found a geocache at the trig :-)
Couldn't see much due to mist but I am sure we will be back again for another look around
Fantastic views to say we were relatively low as we enjoyed a wonderful stroll from Eyam
A lovely little stroll up to the trig which was set amongst the heather. Unfortunately the weather was overcast but a very enjoyable walk from East Witton
A sneaky trig tucked away against a wall and behind some long grass. That was nothing compared to Lees Wood which we visited afterwards. Great walk from Bakewell
A simple walk up after visiting Calton trig. The weather was overcast so the views were virtually non existent
Not much to see as it was a pretty dull day
A nice clear day meant we had good views all around and we enjoyed our lunch soaking them up
Visited on a Trailtrekker practice walk and even though it was slightly off route we decided to stop off.
The final trig of a great walk before we returned to Long Preston
The first of three trigs on a 11 mile circular from Long Preston
A freezing cold day with thick snow on the ground as we did an 8 mile circular walk from Ribblehead
Six inches of snow and a clear day made for a fab walk up from Castleton before we walked to Lord's Seat.
A fabulous clear day in freezing conditions as we walked from Dovestone Reservoir to Chew Reservoir and across to the trig. Wonderful Scenery!
We spent the countdown to NYE at the trig and spent the next 20 minutes watching the fireworks all over Leeds with a glass of champers in hand. Top night!
Very nice but windy day on Win Hill. We did a 4.5 mile walk from Hope to blow away the Christmas cobwebs
A simple little walk up from Burnsall on a very pleasant November day.
A gorgeous day for walking as we walked up from Crowden. The walk wasn't too strenuous but I can imagine the underfoot conditions could be terrible after really wet weather.
A shame it started to drizzle as we reached the trig but we had a very brief view of the surrounding scars before the weather closed in.
A different perspective on the surrounding area as we visited Moughton for the first time on a circular walk from Horton.
The first of three trigs on this day. Moughton and Smearsett Scar were the other two.
Great view of Pen y ghent and the surrounding area. Fantastic spot for lunch on a glorious day.
A lovely day meant for a lovely little walk up from Kilnsey.
A lovely sunny day as we did an extremely simple 2.5 mile circular route from Kettlewell
A very enjoyab;e walk from Bolton Abbey through Storiths and Hazelwood before returning along the River Wharfe.
A fantastic day and wonderful views looking out to the dales below. I could have sat there all day but the pub beckoned!
Lovely views from the trig as we reached our second trig of the day. We had already done Halton Height and we would now go on to Crookrise Crag Top.
A nice walk from Embsay as we did a 13 mile circular walk taking in two other trigs. Really nice weather and lovely views.
Fantastic views of the 3 peaks from the trig. The second trig of the day as we had already done Horse Head. From here we returned to Halton Gill.
A nice little walk up from Halton Gill to Horse Head trig. The day was a clear one and we had great views of some of the surrounding peaks.
A lovely walk from Kettlewell in glorious weather. Fantastic views from the top and along the Dales Way as we returned to kettlewell.
We made out way up Malham Cove from Malham then on to the trig point. We were covered in mist so we have no idea what the views are like. Nice walk though.
I would no doubt have marked this higher but for the fact we were surrounded by mist. I know what we should have been able to see and that would have been great!
A fantastic day as we walked from Gargrave. The weather was cold but no wind and clear skies meant for a lovely view.
We walked from Kilnsey, through Conistone Dib and up to the trig point. The weather was fair for the time of year and we had a nice day out.
A lovely cold crisp day as we walked from Strid Wood. Clear skies and lovely views.
A top day as we completed the Yorkshire tops!
Nice weather decent views.
Fantastic views after a fantastic climb up Buckden Beck
Pretty squelchy and bleak on top but the views of Pen-y-Ghent and Buckden Pike made up for it.
Peak bagging in the Howgills
Walked across from Fountains Fell. Exposed base was different.
A 17 mile walk took in my favourite peak.
Absolutely hammered it down all the way from Nateby and was blowing a gale at the trig but loved every step. Views = zero but awesome walk
Fantastic walk and great views of the Howgills on a glorious day
A fairly simple walk from the Tan Hill Inn
A lovely sunny day meant we had fantastic views of the surrounding areas. The prolonged dry spell prior to our walk meant the vast peat bog on the top was ok. I would hate to attempt it after lots of rain!
Misty and cloudy meant limited views
Fantastic day out walking from Hardraw.
Blustery but sunny with good views
Windy and cold on top with limited views
A misty and blustery visit but worth it for the champers!
Nice and snowy but clear with awesome views
2ft deep snow meant the top could have been anywhere. Inspiring! |
