Profile for Trigpoint100| Name: | Helen Baker | | Email address: | trigpoint100 at btinternet dot com | | Member since: | 2010-06-03 | | Personal details: | Lifelong walker, taking after my dad who believed a day without a good walk was a day wasted, and introduced his four daughters to this activity from their first steps onwards. Also fascinated by maps (am a geographer with a PhD in cartography) so trigging was a natural coming together. Been logging trigs since the early 1990s and ambition is to log 1000. Progress is slow, however, as the vast majority of them involve a long walk (and a pub!) Also sadly unable to find all my early records from my first log (in a meticulous card index!) through to 2001, but live in hope. |
