Personal details:Now on my second period living in Sheffield. First time around (1998) I was merely a casual visitor to the Peaks. This time around (2009-) I've explored them in their full glory thanks to a friend who introduced me to the Pathfinder Guides. When I started doing many of the walks in my trusty new guide I began to notice 'funny pillars' dotted across the hillsides. Having stumbled across this website in 2011 I now visit them as an excuse for getting out and about.
