Circular walk from Colne, gambling on the weather. Easy approach up from the W via a clear footpath. Block easily found next to marker stones. Extensive views in all directions including some unexpected hills. Active shooting range to N, thankfully off-route. Back down towards an approaching hail shower.

An easy find after wall. gatepost cut mark at SD 9169 4175 then used this sort of footpath to gain access to surface block via 5 gates and a wall crossing.

Seen this after waking up from afternoon nap after a long drive back from North Wales. Steady walk up from the main road through farmyard on PROW friendly farmer gave permission and was very interested in the new trig. Great find Rob great sunny evening views to Pendle Hill.

Block with brass rod marker, BM arrow pointing S, 0.5m NW of two marker stones at top of bank, GPS took me straight to it, under an inch of turf, left clear. Nice little 3 block circuit from road junction to SW, good supply of BMs too
