A lovely church set in the old part of Chapel (local name, nobody says en-le-Frith). A chapel was built on this site in 1225 by Norman Kings who use to hunt in the Royal Forest. Dedicated to Saint Thomas Becket. FB is clearly found on the west wall and there is a magnificent "vane". I had a surprise present a day or two after a significant birthday last month. The results came back swiftly today, in all this madness the Bowel Screening Service keeps performing. Todays trig is gifted to you.

Destroyed in 2006 when the roof was refurbished, according to the organist. He knew the bolt as a trigpoint. They also lowered the balustrade, so H and S now forbids trigpointers from going up. There is a 'vane' trig point at the same location, which is still there, so is live. (But it might have been moved during rebuilding) The church has a flagpole, which is not a trig. I listened to the organist practicing by way of penance.
