Went wrong a couple of times trying to find the side road just to the west of the main A130. Easy parking there and walk about three hundred metres east, crossing the main road and along a wooded path between new housing developments. Could have parked closer. Pillar just to north of path. Graffiti painted on it but spider and cap in place and FB so not doing too badly for an urban location. No views though as vegetation grown up all around. Had a closer look at the deer sculpture on the new estate.

Parked the car on the grass verge by the gate. Unfortunately, due to some rather "gung ho" map reading on my part, I chose the wrong gate. Instead of a simple stroll along a straight footpath, we had to cross a golf course, scramble up an overgrown muddy bank, and squeeze through a small hole in a chain-link fence. The TP is in fair condition with (as mentioned previously) a couple of small symbols painted on. The concrete surface has crumbled slightly on the top.
