Parked the car at Balvraid and walked in via Srath A' Chomair and up north east ridge. Trig point has been sadly snapped in half with top half lying on the ground. I couldn't see any evidence of it being chipped away at, so wonder if an almighty lightning strike has done this. Returned via Beinn na h-Eaglaise, Beinn nan Caorach and Bealach Aoidhdailean making it a very rewarding walk.

My Munro #81 climbed alone. Parked in Arnisdale and walked back west till I was opposite Eilean Rarsaidh and cut awkwardly up the hillside through the woods of the Coille Mhialairigh. Once out on open moorside the climb was much easier. and eventually a faint path was found that took us to the summit. Being a 'Munro Bag' rather than a 'Trig Bag' I paid no notice of the broken Trig Point at the summit, but was fortunate to have photographed it. Not that I'd mind having to re-do this hill again, the views were superlative.
