Some concrete slabs have been placed on top of the rivet took some tools but a first class job has been done so unable to budge them without damage.

At some point since 2016, a set of steps has been built from the motorway to the bridge. The area where the rivet used to be, as far as I can tell, now has a paving slab over it from the set of steps that has been built. Impossible to tell whether the rivet was removed when the steps were built, or whether it is sitting underneath the paving slab

Easy spot on N parapet of M6 bridge. 1/4" rivet set in concrete 1.6m from E end. OS sketch handy but not really needed for this one. Unsure why OS call this a Surface Block.

I had already seen this several years (10?) ago while walking Cheshire's footpaths, I found out about this off the internet while searching local walks.

Eventually spotted this on my second attempt, had to enter the coords into the GPS to spot it as it was over the barrier, I had not looked there. Now my journey on the M6 will never be the same as tomtom will no longer beep at me as I drive past this point.

Easy, no vegetation as the rivit is on the edge of the deck of an overpass on the M6. Lots of noise, the motorway being drowned out by hungry sheep reacting to my diesel engine pulling up outside their field. The real meals on wheels, a landrover, turned up sonn after.
