Forestry Track past Sir John De Grahams Castle. Path through forestry gap on the left is reasonably easy to see, but instead of continuing up north, after 200m, turn right for 200m then left again up the hill. Rejoining the forestry road, the faint path to the trig is less visible and looks like it may be extremely boggy in wet weather, but head uphill. Trig is damaged top left as you approach. Cracking views, even with the wind farm

Approached from Sir John de Graham's Castle, followed forestry tracks to within a couple hundred meters then easy approach NE wards over clear spongy ground. Moss covered and damaged Trig but good views, left to East over VERY rough cleared forest to eventually pick up the track with great views over the Carron Valley Res.

Walked in from a small parking space at NS677858 on the minor Earl's Hill road. From here I went up this road to pick up some good forestry tracks which lead me as near to the trig as possible before a bit of rougher walking let me gain it. Some good views today over to the Ochils & Carron Valley but hills to the north west obscured with incoming shower cloud. Trig rather moss covered & one of top corners crumbling but Istill had an interesting morning locating it.

Good views of 2 local wind farms and neighbouring hills including Ben Cleugh in the Ochils, West Lomond, Meikle Bin, Holehead and onto Ben Vorlich and Stuc a Chroin.

Damaged trig with cracking on top screed with vegatation growing through the cracks and a sizeable chunk taken out the top of the south-west edge. That said, good views across the north side of the Campsies and Gargunnocks (assuming you're not in a cloud as I was today!). FB faces east-ish with east-ish sighthole open only. Cap present with sunken lettering. Spider also intact despite screed cracking around it. As is typical with hills in this area, boggy underfoot. Approached along mapped track to the south until it ran out, then forged directly north up the tree line. Quite squelchy due to sphagnum. Attempted an alternative route on descent following a westward path, but this runs out leaving you to your own devices to cross the trashed forestry commission plantation. The plantation is being replanted if the evidence of the new shoots is anything to go by! John de Grahame's castle (big earthwork!) at the parking spot is worth a look. Lovely views from there too.

A bit awkward to reach from the west as the forestry roads have changed slightly, there have been new tracks bulldozed and there have been recent felling operations. Trig point in a bit of a state, the concrete is crumbling badly. Nice views though from Fife in the east to Loch Lomond in the West. Shame about the close-up view of the new wind farm on the Fintry hills.
