Walked along right of way from St Werburgh Church (TP25034). When you are near the trig the path turns right after a ditch. Don't go so far, walk through the woods following the line of the path on east side of the fence. The pillbox is enclosed on 3 sides plus the footpath fence. There is a gate in the enclosure fence that can easily be climbed over. The rest is as described by peregrinus. I was a bit nervous of the condition of the roof but the ladder was certainly solid. The other side of the footpath still has 'dogs on the loose signs' with 3 fences between the path and what lies beyond. The path is well marked and the fences in good condition. The bolt is near the top of the ladder, outside of the safety rail. Very pleased to (easily) see it.

Inaccessible. Footpath appears to be been superseded by MOD "No access" signs. Given the OS "Dobermans" warning, didn't venture forth.
