I was told about this one by a gentleman playing the bag pipes next to Barton Stacey pillar back in 2022, but only just got around to looking for it! All quiet in the area, but quickly snuck in and out through the woods off the avenue before I was caught!

Pillar in good condition located in its own fenced compound. Parked to the west on The Avenue. Would be interested to learn more about this pillar and history given it’s doesn’t appear in the usual OS database.

No entry signs on both gates. I took a pleasant low-key woodland stroll from WNW, no-one around. A well kept pillar. Well found Jochta!

Previously unknown pillar found by accident. Sits in a pasture on slightly raised ground in a small fenced enclosure. Views to the south. Plug is tarmac filled but otherwise in very good condition. Pillar is on MOD land with restricted access although a driving school uses the area regularly for young drivers to practice on. Do not access if the military are using the area for exercises.
