After lovely canal trip with Seagull Cruises. Up Tomnahurich via S zigzag steps, lunch on top, great views. Down N end, to Caffè Nero, back along River Ness. Paths via Kinmylies to Creag Phadrig, round fort, great views of Beauly Firth. Woodland paths to Craig Dunain and trigs. Great Glen Way back to canal carpark. 17km 428m climb. 4.5hrs Inc stops.

From CP at NH 6339 4357 with colourful info board. Into woods to right of this (a pet cemetary). NW to fenceline (feint path/MTB route) to hole in fence at NH 6304 4369. Then mapped track to trig, from which track/path continues to summit area for those wishing to visit the Tump

Nice walk up, do it many times as stay quite close. Trees block an amazing view from the trig point unfortunately.

Really nice walk up and good established paths. Best view isn’t from the trig but further down the hill. Good mountain bike paths and the mast makes for an interesting photo.

No.3 of this year's 100. A steady hours walk out from the city centre railway station to the top of the hill via the suburbs and forest trails. Useful couple of short cut minor paths on last stretch to avoid zig-zagging.

Parked at the Highland Archive Centre and walked up the Great Glen Way, branching off at the top to take in the trig. Completed the walk by taking in Craig Phadrig Pictish Fort before wandering down to the canal and back along to the start point.

Log #87. Good walk up via a section of the Great Glen Way. Very muddy in places, but path was fine after leaving GGW and heading up to radio mast. Cap is missing, and I think there may be a little bit of frost damage around the spider. Met quite a few people on the way, seems to be a popular spot. It's also not the highest point, so if you're a Tump completionist, you'll want to head a little ways to the SW. [ExP-81/MiP-0/BM-6]

Caching in the area so I came over for this, the nearby cache did tell me it was here so no difficulty in finding. All the trees make the view very restricted.

Caught bus from Drumnadrochit to Inverness to walk back on Great Glen Way. This was a short diversion. Trig not on highest point. virutally no views.

A nice walk to get there, remember there is a path going up or you can be a rebel and go through the trees like me...

Overall approach from northeast. From the suburbs of Inverness, a track leads all the way to comms mast, then a further few metres to pillar. Wooded location. Column in good condition. Spider centre open, OS plug missing. Flush bracket on northeast face of pillar. Vented through left sighting hole, others plugged. GPS reception poor in woods, nice location but no view.
