Did this one after the Newtyle Hill marilyn, via West Cults and Dunmore. Walked back out to the road on tracks via Nine Wells. Good visit to see not just the trig, but also the standing stones. Plus there's a benchmark on the buildings at East Cults!

Fantastic views from this one which sits a few yards away from East Cult Farm. Carefully picked my way over others footprints a short way through barley to get to it to check the flush bracket. It's a funny one as others have mentioned. It's sort of sunk into a platform. Stones piled against it over the years?

Walked up from Craigend to find trigpoint standing a few yards from two standing stones and one in a sitting position. Disturbed five pairs of peewits who were concerned about my presence: much circling & peewitting. Had to dig out the FB number, but although the pillar is sunken somewhat, is in generally good condition with cap in place.

This is what happens when you visit in-laws staying in a holiday cottage 10 minutes trot away over the fields ! Apart from the drizzle, the alignment with the 2 standing stones was rather good. I too had to dig to uncover the plate.
