Parked layby adjacent narrow grassy path into woodland - NS 15089 70694. Many paths thru here but made it to track along edge of wood (not so lucky on return, even with GPS and had to escape thru a garden). Mapped track to summit area - white tapes described by Clochabdighter stop here. Up ride NS 14461 72437 (mapped track slightly to E gone). At top of ride, forest completely blocked by windthrow and along S side - impenetrable. Go NW on ride until clear of windthrow - NS 1455 7294 - and into open wood. Easy to top

Pleased that this Trig is still in good condition. Late afternoon, and with no agenda, I reckoned that it would be possible to reach Garrowchorran Hill and return to our accommodation at Innellen. I left a five pence piece on top.
