Parked on minor road to south, followed nearly to the pillar by a herd of curious cows. Keep out building signs posted for what looks like a power line upgrade or yet more turbines in the adjacent fields.

Two buses in falling snow to reach Lesmahagow. Fields and tracks muddy, but helpfully, mostly frozen today to ankle-twisting ridges and clods! There is a Buddhist Ashram at the Lesmahagow end of the track, nice gardens and uplifting plaques!

Parked at the entrance to Lupus farm and made a dash across the fields towards the trig point. Late afternoon find in the fading light and a surprisingly good view in every direction from the summit.
