Fourth Mull trig of the day, parked at gate entrance, to the side. Easy ramble up. Vanessa pillar, super condition, original cap. Incredible views, especially of the Ardmeanach Peninsula across the water, on a simply stunning July day.

Walked up the track to what I think is a holiday cottage. I was adopted by a flock of sheep which decided I might just give them their next meal. Super views.

1/3 today. This was to be my first ever visit to a 'Venessa' - Venesta trig. I agree with clochandighter that the best parking albeit a slightly longer walk along the road is at the cemetery, NM 41949 23506. A few showers today and still blowing a hoolie. As others a short walk up the track to bag this pillar. Fantastic views overlooking Ardmeanach the other side of Loch Scridain.

Really easy trig to bag! We parked just off the main road close to the entrance to 'Ardcrishnish', walked through the gate and along the track. Took a slight right at the house to go through the field and headed upwards towards the trig through the ferns. Stunning views across 'the burg'.

Approached from main rd where there is space for a car at the beginning of the track to Ardchrishnish. Followed track to the barn then track goes to the right of this to the trig which is on a promontory and a bit of bracken bashing was needed to gain the top. Superb viewpoint down the length of Loch Scridain and stunning view to my fav Mull hill Bearraich

Easiest parking is just along the cemetery track at NM419234. From there, along the A849 to the main gate of Ardchrishnish and following the track until just before the first farm building. After that there is a good route around the right of the farm curtiliage with a worn path leading to the rocks which the trig adorns. Vanessa in good condition. Spider retains OS centre cap with raised large narrow letters. Flush bracket faces south, ~169°. Vented through eastmost sight hole. Full 360° panoramic view.

vgc, cylindrical, metal cap, wide raised letters. On distinctive grassy outcrop just behind house (unocc at time of visit - being refurbed?). Fine view.
