Parked in estate off minor road and took the track upto the field with the trig in,newly planted crops and very over looked here so field edge only.

Parking difficult on A635 to South.Parked in layby at corner of Barugh Lane (B6428) then short walk up fenceline of field to within 100 yards of pillar then across open field.Easy today as field recently harvested.Views over M1

An easy find just above the motor in a ploughed field. You can see this one when driving on the motorway

vgc, metal cap, shallow letters. 2nd time lucky: 1/6/07 not visible from road: cereal crop. Easily reached this evening: stubble field: dark by the time I arrived. Quick bag from M1: off atJj37, back on at J38.

Approached via hedgeline to south west. You're overlooked at the trig but only by council houses. Still a bit of white paint. Plug with indented lettering.

Very prominant from all directions, bare in mind it's a trespass and that you will be too (prominant, that is) if you hang about the trig for too long. Gate directly south gives easy access but walk the field perimiter to the nearest point to the trig.

Barugh It might look look a path but it isn't. View from west.

You can see the trigpoint from the A635, just before it passes under the M1 Motorway. You can also see it from the Motorway. However, without permission, you can't get to the pillar.
