Stopped on the way over Dallowgill moor towards Kirkby Malzeard. Very easy to locate thanks to others. Lovely sounds and sights of ground nesting birds...in nesting season of course.

On the way home now, slight detour before hitting the A1. Easy bag thanks to the info from other logs. Beautiful evening with views across the Vale of York to the white horse.

Driving along to this one from a cache. A good easy spot as the bracken had been burnt recently.

The first bolt we've found. Horrid Henry spotted it and asked what it was. Re-logging as originally found as Maxiboo22 but consolidating all finds under the one account.

Drove this way after a superb lunch at the Yorke Arms Hotel at Ramsgill. Highly recommended, but expensive. Others have had cheaper snacks and left their rubbish near this bolt ... disappointing.

Roadside, next to parking area. The GOML signs have been replaced by access land notices 8-)

On a biggish rock at the rightside of the carpark at the high point near Skell Gill. Red marking nicely faded (in that it doesn't look crap).

Great moorland location. Easy to find as close to the car park but the red circle is looking faded now!
Skell Gill Bolt Used this to check the GPS accuracy. It showed 3 feet but I later calculated the error to be about 4.5 feet. - still not bad!

Thought I'd found this in the dark but have been informed it has been moved! Can't be 100% sure either way!

Someone has sprayed a red circle around the bolt to help you pick it out!Bolt is on a boulder.
