Looks a bit dull on the map but actually an excellent viewpoint of higher hills in all directions.

Plug intact; slight crack; paintwork flaking. Theres now a permissive bridleway around the edge of the field which would make access easy if it wasn't for the electric fence. Good views; showers passing.

In the centre of a large arable field, fortunately still with stubble from last year and unploughed. Easy access just off a lane. The plug is still there [slightly indented lettering]. Some cracks on the top surface and a piece of cement removed. Base exposed alround to a depth of about 3". N sighthole open, the others closed. Some white paint visible. Good alround views, especially NW towards Wales. Buzzard patrolling the skies.

Not so cheerful as this morning, got hammered by Shrewsbury.. Thats bad! The pillar has some paint left and is in good shape, all intact, near a brick water tank in a field.
