Parked by track entrance at NS067947 on A886. Followed mapped track to NS057938 then westwards across open ground in as staight a line as bogs would permit. Pillar completed 20th June 1956 costing £59.4s.3d and still in good condition. Spider centre open. FB faces 119° (SE). Three horizontal sight holes open, NE face plugged. Tertiary station in Block NS29, Greenock. No views due to very poor weather conditions.
