A tad hard to find. Parking tricky on this lane as private land owners so, on local advice, parked to east where road widens. Walked back to gate that says "please keep closed" whilst chatting to a local farmer. You don't need to go as far as the horses - just as well as they looked pretty keen and frisky. Trig in hedge on concrete plinth but pretty overgrown. Took 1.5cm gash in head jumping up to find it. All in the duty of a trig find.

I heard voices of men renovating the barn on the opposite site of the lane so asked there fore permission to go and have a look at the trig. A real wag of a bloke said it was no problem. After bagging the trig walked back into Brixham - a lovely evening walk.

The trig is just off Grattery Lane in a field with stables. The lady mucking out gave us permission to enter, although if no-one is there access wouldn't be too much of a problem. Tarmac plug.

The pillar is up in the hedge, in a field off an unmetalled road. It would not normally be available, but I asked for, and got permission to be on the land (Thanks !). The pillar is up on a plynth and looks undamaged, with the exception of the spider, which has a missing core. The plinth itself is looking a bit tired. Pretty good views out to sea, and back in towards Torbay from various points along the lane. Please remember that access to this pillar is only available with permission.
