Drive by en route home from Broomhall Copse - not on a likely walking route! In decent weather (ie not today) would have good views to W. W s/hole open otherwise vgc, metal cap indented lettering

Easy to spot and easy to access just off road/driveway junction. Pillar is in good condition. Retains on of the original metal intented lettered plugs and also has one of the Monument/GPS Network plaques attached.

Field was being harvested, so farm gate was open. good condition pillar

Decided to make a return visit to see if access was any easier. The rusty gate referred to before has now developed a hole big enough to get through. The pillar is in good condition with everything still in place.

So near and yet so far... The trigpoint is in a field about 20 feet from a thick hedgerow and barbed wire fence. Access into the field is via a very rusty metal gate. I am sure that if I tried to climb it, both the gate and myself would have ended up in a heap on the ground. The OS GPS site shows this as 'Permission Required', so I didn't go and further. One for another day. The pillar appears to be in good condition and the OS GPS plate is clearly visible.
