HISTORY: Pillar completed 8th July 1955 costing £73.2s.2d. Computed as secondary triangulation station NH54/19 within the Inverness block during 1956. Levelled for height to top of pillar in 1956. Last maintained by the OS in May 1980. SITE VISIT: Three trig 20½ mile circuit starting and finishing at Snenval. Approached from northeast. Parked by forest track entrances at NH405297. Up via Suidhe Ghuirman. Near straight line SW along plateau circumnavigating lochans. Pillar in good condition. Spider centre open. Built without flush bracket. Face adjacent to perpendicular spider arm faces ESE, ~112°. Vented through NW sight hole. Full 360° panorama. Continued to Glas Bheinn Mhor.

vgc, metal cap wide letters, built without FB. Nice summit, fine view, surrounded by shapely lochans. 18 mile 3 trig circuit with S7731 and S8176 from Shenval.
