Parked beside Pheasant pub then took footpath between resr and cricket pitch.Good views over Barnsley.

Good view towards Barnsley & Oakwell footie stadium. Trig OK but somewhat weather beaten & graffiti battered. Last one of 17 miler starting at Wombwell. No cars, on foot!

I agree that it is a surprise that the plug has remained intact on this one given all the other abuse the trig seems to have suffered. It looks like its been in a slapstick show with red and white paint poured over it. My first time in Barnsley and its true – everyone speaks like Michael Parkinson.

One sighting hole open; plug intact but splashed with paint. This would be a good spot if it wasn't for the graffiti and broken glass scattered around. Scenic views of Barnsley.
