Been here many times as a kid and adult,but first time logged.It is a popular place.Trig in good nick,white painted plastic plug,3 sight holes open.Excellent 360 deg views.OS map has it as Nicky Nook.

Great little walk this near to the village of Scorton many walkers about here.Parked at top of lane good waymarked path straight to top.trig in vgc plastic plug this realy is an outstanding location with exellent views espiecialy the trough of bowland.

Latest visit of literally hundreds! My local trig - and my favourite! Fantastic views for very little effort and any number of ascent routes as it's on access land. As previously reported by another trigpointer, it is NICKY (not NICKEY) NOOK.

Visited the summit and Trig whilst also calling at the new Geocaches nearby. A bit hazy today but at least it had cooled down from the horribly hot weather of late. A grand viewpoint for little effort.

A circular walk from Scorton visiting Nicky Nook before returning via Grizedale. Good views slightly spoiled by the haze.

Easily accessible and on walked footpath just off right of way. We came up from Grize Dale on one of the Calder Vale Circular Walks. Views today were somewhat restricted by mist and or low cloud. Pillar is in good condition although old paint now well flaked. Plastic plug.

A cloudy day, but still worth finding on 7.25 mile walk which we started from Grizedale Bridge. Couldn't actually get close to trig as surrounded by party of students, but anyway we walked right by it.

Pleasant walk along track by stream followed by a short but steep ascent from S. Plug replaced, three sighting holes open. Views good but weather dull.

Score would have been higher if visibility were better. Slight erosion around base, 1 sight hole blocked. Insert plug. Should this be Nicky Nook as on OS maps?

Nice circuit from Scorton. RAF Memorial Flight flew by while we were on the summit - almost a Lancaster over Lancaster!

Excellent views all round including the tower at Blackpool. It had a sentinel crow on top as we approached, looked impressive black on white.

My first logged trig! Paid a visit to the Nook to do a maintenance visit on my nearby cache. Outstanding views from here so it gets a 10 - Ok I'm biased but they are great on a sunny day!!
