Could clearly see trig in hedge from the footpath. Two electric fences and lots of horses inbetween so left it at that.
We approached via the footpath from the south. The paddock gates were open so access was OK but straight over the gate from the west is probably an easier option. Plug with indented lettering.
Second visit to this one, this time managed to get closer. Located in the hedge between houses and a paddock, about 75 meters from the lane, only one gate to climb, Pillar is in good condition
vgc, shallow, S edge of paddock, FB facing N
Visable at the edge of a field full of horses, i'll try again, with permission
The pillar is tucked in the hedge to the west of the stables! Can't get close to have a better look.
Couldnt find this, if it is there its in a private wood, behind some stables. I goto within 70m according to GPS. Will possibly go back for a better look |
