On hedgeline. Pillar in good condition. Spider centre plugged with smooth brown resin. Flush bracket faces north, ~351°. Any open sight hole is buried. 360° open outlook.

with son Jamie. Embedded in hawthorn field hedge, well hidden from view with foliage Hawthorn etc especially from the north side where the flush bracket is. With two pairs of secateurs, newly bought on discount from Aldi this very day, we liberated it from it's shackles by giving it a thorough trim.

Glad to get rid of the withdrawal symptoms - 4th day of holiday and the first pillar! I nice easy visit - cycle up road, easy access to field and no problem in finding it, even though in hedge.

Visible and accessible by walking up hedge line from road. Pillar is now well and tuely part of the hedge but still there and in generally good condition. Not a too inspiring location.

Because of work going on in adjacent fields, I approached on the south side of the hedge, but that is the wrong side for the flush bracket, so number not noted.
