Decent view in all directions. Easy access from the road, low barbed wire simple to straddle. The wind farm application as noted by ted in 2004 has been reduced to an application for 2 wind turbines and was posted 26 Sept 2005 - posters in the area show there is still some opposition to the application (see photo).

Trig painted white but flaking; plastic plug. Good views all round. A planning notice just along the road indicates that a wind farm is proposed for this area.

Just above the road in the corner of a field. Laybye of sorts on right where you can park on brow. Without going through farmers field at laybye you can approach 25yds NW of laybye then South 25yds through brambles to knoll in corner of field. GPSr gave WGS84 datum as N53deg 34.492 W1 deg 37.610 - Os grid as SE 24807 08762 @791ft
