Easy to find in the depths of winter - by wall to SE of barn - but still had to remove some brambles to see it properly. Top rear left corner chipped, but nice to see original height info. Alfriston FBM ©Cipollini

My first FBM! GPS took me to the spot, it\'s next to the wall of the old (NT) barn and was well proteced by stingers and I didn\'t get that close as I was wearing shorts.

Wow. this took a bit of finding at this time of year. My gps was pointing to the southern side of the farm track but I guessed that if it was still here it would be in amongst them nettles and brambles. Ten minutes later and many stings and scratches I found it. Message to self to not wear shorts next time.

A short walk from the car park up the road. Two firsts for me here… an FBM that is not surrounded by a fenced enclosure and the first FBM that I have found that still has the original height data label attached. Apart from that, nothing out of the ordinary. It is still in very good condition and currently, still very accessible. The FBM ©Pharisee

Classic 2GL FBM, in excellent condition, complete with height tag 303.65 ft. Almost totally hidden by brambles, but the blackberries tasted excellent. Flush Bracket 2436 is close by.

We don't normally bother if theres no FB involved but we saw this by accident after going to tell the farmer that one of his very young lambs had got separated from its mother and was in the wrong field (noticed on our walk to The Comp). We took a photo anyway! (not digital though!). FBM has a GPS plaque.
