nice walk up through woods from village: lots of primroses, aconites, wood anemones etc. once on top, along the field boundary where the footpath zigzags, over a fence, across the field and through a gate to get to the flush bracket side. Area seething with trippers.

Walked from Hill Top Farm Spaunton on footpath till second lot of farm buildings then cut across the field 1 fence to climb and flush bracket on far side of the wall.

Approached from the north. Following field edges from footpath and up through wood. Gates and stiles making access quite easy. Pillar built into wall.

Trig forms part of wall - I wonder which was built first. Plug intact. Unusually deep wells on upper surface. Approached via top edge of wood. Staring sheep.
