5 of 5. Beautiful day. Theres grand views in all directions from here. I could make out some of the southern fells in the Lakes. Steep but fairly simple to get to from either paths, north or south.

The trig and the immediate surrounding area is open access land. However the farmland you have to cross to get to it isnt. Its a nice walk up from the minor road to the east. Excellent views from this location

A good day out walking. Started in Settle then via Giggleswick Scar, Dead Mans Cave, The Celtic Wall, Smearsett Scar and then on the Feizor, back to Stainforth and Settle along the Ribble. Sunny day, slightly windy, but good views.

What a wonderful spot. Easily accessible from footpath to north. Pilar in good condition although the plug is missing. Tremendous views particularly on a sunny day like today.

Approached from the car park in Stainforth via Stainforth bridge. sleep climb from footpath trig in good condition views good if a bit misty. This trig start of a 18.38 miles round trip taking a 3 more trig.Onwards east to Moughton trig.

lovely spot. fantastic view to pen-y-ghent from an unusual angle . easy walk up from feizor- past pot scar. you can park at the far end of feizor through the gate in the climber's parking spot if you want. Steep end to the walk up from the RoW . Bench mark looks almost rusty, not verdigris'ed

Had to visit this trig point in a hurry as I had come up to Giggleswick by train which was running late. As I had to catch a train back within 2 hours of visiting the trig point I literally 'jogged across the Scar'! This was my first 'bag' of 2005.

Terrific view towards Pen Y Ghent from the trig. Usual route up from Stainforth. No public RoW path to the trig but there are paths there from both Stainforth & Feizor. No cars, on foot! And again 23/03/2005 + 11/07/2008
