Approached via driveway but stopped couple of hundred yards short of house. Tris is actually visable as soon as you enter the driveway

Driving over from Greetland to The Yorkshire Sculpture Park (via Emley Moor Mast) we stopped off and visited this Trig. Met the house owner as we walked up the drive so got permission to visit. Great views - a lovely place to live! 236m. Me, Tee

Camera balanced on a fence post! A house right behind the camera, but a fabulous view over the wall!

I'd be lying if I said I actually 'tigged the trig'. Went down the driveway to get a decent photo but decided not to pester the occupants today. Access via the woodland seems the best bet (or perhaps just go up and ask at the house!)

OK so i chickened out after emerging from the woods in a suspicious manner... next time i'll just walk up the front drive bold as brass like you lot and bag it!

I approached this one via the footpath from the North and snook around the farm buildings to the side of the house. I couldn't see anyone about so climbed the wall to get the close up shots. Excellent condition.

The Heights Looking SE over the wall.
The Heights Close up of trig looking NW.

The Heights View across the field, top of trig visible above wall top.

Visible from a short distance up the drive but the trig is situated directly in front of the farmhouse. There was noone about and, after waiting a while to see if anyone appeared so that I could ask permission, made a very quick visit via the field edge. If the owners read this - my apologies! Trig well looked after; painted white with plug intact.
