2/5 Parked on minor no-through road to the North by a gateway almost in line with the pillar and ascended two fields. Pillar has a coat of white paint and the views were superb on this sunny November day.

Parked in lane to the north, crossed a newly ploughed field that was hard going and the trig is in the next field, might be easier from the south
