Completely covered - walked passed it several times! - Finally crawled on my hands and knees through a small tunnel in the ivy - FBM good condition as you would expect this well hidden.

Almost obscured by ivy, but the metal fence could be seen from the east reasonably well. I figured that the best way to get a GPS reading would be to hold my unit above the bush!

The grass in front of the railings is well trampled by this winter's visitors, and the ivy is still well back. Only a little pruning was required to get a close-up picture.

Still well hidden by the vegetation, I found the nearby rivet first. The mini pillar is in a fenced enclosure and the machete trail from my orienteering clubmate was appreciated. The benchmark was 371.51 feet.

Found it after a great deal of searching! The pillar is in excellent condition, surrounded by green iron railings. Unfortunately, the entire bit of land had been completely overgrown by a huge ivy bush and I almost needed a machete to get to it! It's in a lovely spot up a very quiet lane just outside Bromsgrove but with minimal views.
