I can confirm the dome has gone. It was on the West Berkshire Council building on the S side of Ampere Road. I never did get round to taking a photo while it was present ...

in between marconi road and ampere road is the headquarters of newbury electronics

Newbury Active Station. Industrial estate on NE of town. S side of Ampere Road. Usual white dome on roof towards the SW corner of a building in a lockable compound. Best view I found was from the W end of Ampere Rd.
