Using OS sketch and previous photographs easy to find location. Overgrown, had to dig, initial disappointment as a flat rock was uncovered, this was soon moved to reveal rivet underneath. Replaced flat protective stone.

Couldn't find it 11th Apr 2012  16:45  by analoguesat

Second attempt whilst passing & failed again. However as it was in the middle of a rainstorm I wasnt about to hang around to do much prodding! First try - 3/7/2010 1700 Didnt know anything about this one - I just stopped when the satnav beeped. Guessed it was a rivet when there was no sign of a pillar nearby so had a good look around. I must have been standing on it at one point! The road has been resurfaced and I reckon its buried under disturbed soil now. I'll be back now I know exactly where it is.

Arrived here later than planned and found ourselves trigging by torchlight once again! Thanks to Iainmacs photos, we were able to locate and unearth the rivet with a trowel.
