Photo of Breakwater
Visited here after a look around Penrhyn Castle first. On a good day the views from here would be lovely, but today, unfortunately, the weather was not so great. The easiest way to reach the end of the breakwater is following the arrow for D.A. Slate (pictured), which means you don't need to pass by the big KEEP OUT sign at the dock like I did.
Station: SH57/T076. This rivet is located close to the end of the breakwater at Porth Penrhyn. This area of the port does not have public access but I have never had any problems coming here to take photos. You get some very good views of Beaumaris from here. The rivet is also listed in the benchmark database and is shown at a height of 5.3605m above the Newlyn datum.
