Been up many times and forgot to add! A favourite due to the panoramic views on offer. Good forestry track most of the way then a good boggy section to get to the trig. Waterproof shoes needed!

Visited so many times. Very easy to get to. 2 miles from the carpark, great views on the whole walk but from the trigpoint it's just breathtaking.

Nice easy route to top from Benderloch village, suitable for all ages. A little muddy to the top but well worth the effort for the 360 views.

Parked in Beinn Lora car park in Benderloch and took forestry tracks until a flat boggy section takes you almost to the summit. Steeper, grassy slope at the end, but still easy enough. Good views inland back to Ben Cruachan, but especially good out to sea and down towards Mull.

Climbed from the free FC car park in Benderloch. This was my 600th Marilyn and was climbed in wind, rain and cloud. When on the summit the clouds cleared and the rain stopped, just in time for the celebrations.

Easily won trig on good forestry path. A bit dull and overcast so could have scored a nine otherwise. Checked out the lie of the land across the bay ready for an assault on Garbh Ard (TP3306).

Sitting at the top as I write this, on an unfeasibley hot day for the end of March. A bit hazy but still an incredible panorama. Dropping some punters off at a nearby fish farm then collect them later on so got some time to myself inbetween. Peachy!

Last maintained by the OS in May 1981. SITE VISIT: Public car park in Benerloch, south end of village to west side of A828. Up through woods to NM914379 then out ontop open hill. Footpath all the way. Secondary station Vanessa in good condition. Completed 30th May 1959 costing £13.10s.2d. Tar plug in spider. Flush bracket faces 198° SSW. Vented through eastmost sight hole. Spectacular 360° panorama from top.

vgc, cylindrical trig, asphalt plug. Nice summit albeit mist & drizzle so no view today. Good waymarked trail from car park to W, then boggy path from forest edge - quite a popular hill apparently. Back at car I finally got thru to the guy at Lochnell Estate - no problem visiting Garbh Ard tomorrow - excellent :-)

Vanessa with missing plug, concrete replacement. Very good view as expected with most Lorn seaside hills. Easy ascent, but wet once out of the forest. Hill besieged by marilyn baggers from nearby orienteering event.
