Walked from Elmley Castle. Good walk, heading south west then west, fairly steep at times. Joining the Wychavon Way near the top where path starts to level out. Magnificent views opening out to north. Past the woods on the south of the path, through a gate and Tower visible to the west. There’s a toposcope at the hill summit about 100 metres north east of the tower. Quite a few people sitting around the tower itself. Rocky formation in a dip just north of the tower, seems to be called the Elephant stone, wasn’t sure if it was a ruin of some sort. Pershore closest town to north, Spoke to some locals who pointed out Worcester to north west. Broadway Tower visible to east.

I like my northern hills and moors but I have to say there is something so stunningly rich about these Midlands hills. Marilyn top nearby, tower humming a little from the telecoms. A coffee and cake at the end, in the footsteps of ER1.

circular walk from Eckington Bridge taking in part of Shakespeare's Avon Way. After a fine sunny start it had clouded up with the threat of rain by the time I'd reached the summit.

A great place to spend a few minutes admiring the view and the Elephant Stone just done in the dip. Splendid!

Parsons Folly on kemerton Camp, built to take combined height to the magic 1000ft. Walked up from Bredon's Norton and returned via Westmancote, passing the King and Queen Stones. Fantastic views from Bredon Hill. Lovely place. There's also a toposcope and the Banbury, or Elephant, Stone at the 299m summit. Was not on the database at time of bag, entered 06/2011.
