Too rough to ride up the track, walked. After about 400 metres turned west, over a gate and along another track. After about 750 metres another gate, about fifty metres beyond track became very overgrown although there was evidence that someone else had been through recently as long grass had been trodden down. Over a wall, barbed wire fence at end of track. Continued west to next field where pillar came into view. Another fence to negotiate into a grass field. Good views to west, south and north. Spider and cap in place.

Access off footpath to west but the whole area is a bit of a mess with mining and landfill. easy to get "lost" from the track.
