Parked up at the locked double gates mad speeding traffic here, Soft loamy soil took some digging out nice bolt good find rob.

Again profiting from Peregrinus's pioneering work. Obvious where to dig and came equipped with small weeding fork to assist. Plenty of passing cars but no enquiries what I was doing. Nearby signs of vehicle fire and huge pile of fly tipping.

Best spotted after somone has just been - thanks. West verge of road. Only 1 cyclist and 1 car stopped to ask if we were OK, we said yes, but not sure if that was the correct answer for some one digging up the verge! Nice 2 inch bolt but the surface of the block has a distinct tilt.

Thanks to Rob, disturbed ground still visible. West side of road c .5 m from tarmac. 26 paces north of north of double gate post . Re-covered.trowel / poking stick required. C 20 cm down . 2’ domed brass bolt on concrete block. Grass with nettles. Cycled from our nearby house. Oaks everywhere!

2 inch bolt in block 25cm down, 0.5m from road edge, c28m N from N gatepost (parking), 2m R(S) of oak tree opposite. Same depth as Buried block found earlier today!
