After starting the day with a difficult TP at Trink Hill this was the opposite end of the scale. Could park almost next to it. Took the road west out of St Just, past the school on north side of road then south west at fork. Great views towards Cape Cornwall to north west and Sennen Cove and Land’s End (nearly there!) to south west. Strong wind from south west, straight off the Atlantic Ocean, dramatic. Cap missing. Nearby is a Bronze Age burial Barrow.

Parked by this roadside trig before a visit along the Coast path to Cape Cornwall. 5th of 5 trigs today. Earlier we visited Tolcarne and Sancreed FBMs then Land's End and Bartinney Downs pillars. Lovely views in lovely sunny conditions.

Onwards from Land's End via an excellent visit to the Minack Theatre (no performance on, so you can do your own recitation from the stage if you wish!). Drive by trig, dense fog so nothing to see. Centre, and W and S s/holes open, trig otherwise in vgc with good view of the centre pin. Our third experience of successive FB numbers on adjacent visits.

As a coastal trig, this is probably worth a score of more than 6/10, but it was pitch dark when I visited. Which is why I trod in the little booby-trap that some ignorant dog walker had let their pet leave lying right by the trig. Thanks very much indeed.

After my exertion at Trink Hill, a simple drive-by for the final location of the day was most welcome. If you really wanted to, you could almost touch this one just by reaching through your car window. I parked a little further down the lane. The pillar is in good condition but of course, the centre plug has been taken. On top of the cliff, where the pillar is situated, it’s open moorland but the view out to sea is pleasant enough.

This is about as easy as it gets - a drive-by trig! You can of course make it a bit more of a challenge by doing this as part of the Coast Path - it's a bit of a climb up from either Cape Cornwall or Cot Valley. The views from the nearby headland are stunning.

An easy pillar to find alongside the road, assuming you get the right road, that is. I took the road to Bosorne by mistake and needed multiple shunts to turn my campervan around, with spectators! As others have said, the views from here are great.

Situated in an area of mine shafts, chimneys and burial mounds. Views over to Lands End and out to the Scilly Isles. Well worth a visit to include Cape Cornwall, stunning scenery!
