2/2 today. Bagged on way back from walking the coastal path loop around St Anns Head. Easy (almost) roadsider, with layby and PRoW access. Great views. Itchy.

2/3 from Dale along costal path via St Ann’s Head. PROW from lane outside Marloes. Lovely views of the bays and ships! Trig sits on a rocky mound. Trig is in good condition with spider and FB intact.

A footpath created especially to this TP also known as Marloes Beacon, provided a perfect lunchstop for our walk from St Brides. Superb view looking north.

First pillar of the day and one of the easier ones you'll get. Trig sits on raised rocky outcrop with ROW from roadside about 40m. Really windy today. No cap but filled, Spider and FB in place.

Dropped by on the way back from Skomer trip. Pembrokeshire icons tick list from Marloes Beacon trig. Milford Haven refinery, great coastline, ships in the bay, a skylark and new potatoes growing in the next field. All present and correct.

Parking roadside near field gate giving access to short walk to this trig on small mound, Marloes Beacon, a Class 0 tump. Pillar in good condition; cap missing, rough asphalt-looking plug; all sight holes sealed with 1 becoming degraded. Surprisingly good 360deg views for such a small hill.

Near to the end of a lengthy afternoon walk from Johnston train station to Marloes YHA. This is an excellent viewpoint for St Brides Bay. My trip to Skomer the following day was cancelled due to rough seas, but not to mind, gives another reason to visit this lovely part of Pembrokeshire one more time.

Pembrokeshire. The pillar is on a small hill about 100yards from the road. There were spectacular coastal views on a sunnt morning. Concrete or similar replacement plug.
