Very easy walk up from the llangeinor arms pub. When you come to the gate almost a mile up keep going straight up the hill. There are white arrows spray painted on the grass to take you right, don't follow them 🤣 The views from the trig were amazing. No water around trigg as it's been a dry month. But alot of the mountain has been burnt by fires....such a shame

Linear walk from Ogwr Vale to Maesteg. 1/2 Bus into Ogwr Vale, then bridleway marked on map up Cwm Cyffog, where at least two fences without gates/stiles were encountered. Felt alot more comfortable once out onto open hillside. Excellent views from pillar, whole sweep of Vale of Glamorgan and Bristol Channel. Then walked west and down side of small valley, keeping on open access land, to road in Garw Valley.

3 of 3 today including 2 revisits to Llangeinor and Nant-Hir, we parked and in the car park on top of the Bwlch Rd. and walked along the hills above the Garw and Ogmore valleys towards Llangeinor, this pillar is in fair condition with some cracking the FB and Spider are all in place but the centre plug is missing and it looks like either the spider has been vandalised or the fixings have eroded, sight holes are open except for some litter.

Parked up opposite St Ceinwyr Chuch next to the Llangeinor Arms. Bridleway leads on from here and leads straight to the trig, easy 30 minute walk. A little wet, slippery and muddy but with some super views back as the clouds cleared. Probably better after a drier period but still a nice little 3km round trip! Trig in a little pool. Heavy weathering of Spider-Hanging on at present with a few chunks taken out. One sight hole open, top cap/plug missing, Flush Bracket in place.
