Virtually roadside, just a shallow ditch to cross. Able to park on west side of road by entrance to mast compound. Approached from the north west but only spotted pillar in last hundred metres or so. Gets extra point for location name, although the village of this name is about two miles away to the east. Plastic cap in centre of spider, OS plaque in place.

An above-average viewpoint from the trigpoint in most directions. You can see a number of water towers and presumably other trigpoints off in the distance.

Parked at entrance to the mast as pillar is roadside. Had to leap the ditch. Pillar looks in good condition. Typical flattish views but quite extensive to the north west.

Travelling around county-bagging and geocaching while camping for the geocaching Essex Mega, as well as finding a trig point if possible! Parked nearby, TP seems in good condition and good countryside views around.

Great name. Lovely spot. By country lane and radio mast just in cereal field. Plug gone with plastic cap and OS plaque. Extensive views N and W. Warm sun, slight breeze - and an inquistive cyclist wanting to know how TP's worked.

This trig point is very easy to get at as it is along side a minor road about 6 km south west of Haverhill. The concrete pillar is undamaged but the bronze plug in the centre at the top is missing and has been replaced with a plastic bung. It also carries a second plaque stating that it is an offence to damage a triangulation point and gives the OS help line telephone number to report any damage. Opposite the trig point is a radio mast and there is room to park a car in front of that. The views are good without being spectacular.
