Nice easy walk up from windfarm entrance. Can see the trig from the gate. In good condition. Plastic cap in the centre. First time I've seen one of these.

From the E, parking in wide, gated, windfarm entrance (NS 4925 5265) and walking the roads until due SE then across the rough. Pillar has lost some concrete low down on one vertical edge. Original centre cap missing, there's a 3D-printed replacement; front sight hole sealed, RHD side plug degrading, other 2 holes open. Distant views to Campsies etc.

Log #263. Parked in layby just south of windfarm entrance and walked up access roads. I did go to the control building first out of courtesy, but there was no-one there. Pillar is in good condition, not much else to note. On my way back down, I spotted two cars parked in the entrance to the windfarm, just outside the first set of gates. I was expected a GOML'ing, but it turns out a couple had arrived separately and seemed to be enjoying some alone-time. They got a fright when I hopped the gate in front of them! Laughed my way back to the car. [ExP-195/MiP-12/Rev-2/BM-15/IS-30/Other-9]

Final trig of my new home East Renfrewshire. Start of a weekend of wind farm trigs. This one is only at the road construction stage as yet. Parked in compound car park and walked across the bog to the trig. 3rd pillar for baby Fraser. Curious security guard came to see us but advised OK to visit so long as construction areas avoided.

First visit. To record FB number. The pillar was completed 26th November 1945 costing 4.10s.0d. In 1947 this marker was computed for triangulation as tertiary station NS77/T80 in the Glasgow secondary block. The flush bracket was levelled for height in 1955. This trig point was last maintained by the OS in September 1971. Out on the moors, but too well visited to retain an OS centre cap in the spider. BsM flush bracket.
