Parked on lane to north west of Winchcombe heading uphill to Langley Farm. Through gate with sign warning of bull in field, uphill following worn path across pasture. No bull present at the time. Through a second gate and continue in same direction to another gate where ground begins to level out. Left, south west along path for about 150 metres, hill rises on the right. Under barbed wire fence, headed for gap in vegetation upon reaching gap, pillar visible another fifty or so metres uphill close to hedge boundary. Spider removed sadly. Good views to south east, other directions obscured by vegetation. Cattle at far end of field, unconcerned. Picked a few blackberries on the way back down.
