Walked up from SE, parking at mapped covered reservoirs. Some trods on lower slopes, nothing much higher up, just rough grassy tussocks. Pillar has some minor chipping to top edges; centre cap missing, tube sealed with asphalt plug; rear sight hole open. Cloud down, no views today.

Walked over from the forest track in very deep snow. The snow covered the bogs which meant one of our group found it and ended up in the bog up to her chest. Not the best of days to do that. The views of the Ben are stunning from here.

Too hot for a cold-blooded creature as myself. Must have been nudging 30° today. Wanted to lie by Inverlochy or down Glen Nevis with plenty water n ice-cream and a good book. Forced myself up here first, worth the effort. Scores highly because it's a perfect example of why to visit trigs (well pillars mostly). A tremendous spot that I would never visited otherwise.
