Parked on verge on roadside to north east of pillar. Over stile into field, there was a sign warning of a bull in the field, didn’t see one. Uphill to south. At ridge footpath to west wasn’t obvious, another stile into next field. After about three hundred metres reached another stile which was flooded. Looked around south side of tree line and spotted pillar about fifty metres further west, didn’t have to negotiate the icy flooded stile. Cap plugged. Limited views due to freezing fog.

Walked up from Middle Hollowfield's Farm, along the ridge, then north past the fish ponds to the road by the ford. An enjoyable one this. Its situated on a footpath through a very old fashioned sort of farm. Its pastureland grazed by Herefords. Loads of birds too, and the journey over from Droitwich was enlivened by having to give way to ducks swimming across the road. I am getting to like these 'Borsetshire' trigs. Pillar in very good condition and all there.
