Parked in Shripney then along track as others have noted. No one around. Trig is the far side of the hedge (not visible at all from field side) & someone has cleared brambles for easy access.

Cycled along Shripney Lane, then onto the muddy track past the Dog Swimming Pool and caravan park. At the solar farm turn immediately left and the pillar is about fifty metres down the hedgerow outside the farm's boundary fence. Overgrown with brambles in summer, so a fair bit of gardening required.

Pillar is now absolutely overwhelmed with brambles. Top is visible and just about reachable; didn't even attempt to get to the FB. Location is right next to a CCTV-protected solar panel enclosure, with a fence marked with 'Danger Of Death' signs on one side, and a ditch the other. Not entirely sure I should have been here, to be honest, but there were no Keep Out signs, and the workers in the caravan park saw me but passed me by without comment (as did a pair of deer in the field). Oh, and the path up was very muddy, too. All in all, a fairly unpleasant and unrewarding experience.

All-Sussex Covid Project #89. From the map it seems I should remember this but its hazy! I walked through some kind of machinery yard then along a muddy but accessible path and past some solar panels.

Turn left off the A29 going north from Bognor Regis. Lane is a dead end but continue into field past caravans and huts. Looks like some sort of lorry park, track pretty churned up and muddy. After ditch on left, alongside field boundary turn left, pillar is in amongst thick overgrown vegetation. Luckily just getting light which helped. Flat ground all around so unspectacular views.

Drove into what looks like a farm yard and round to the caravan park on the left, parked up and walked along lane to wind farm. Trig point is left from the lane outside the boundary fence for the wind farm.

easy drive up to the trig. went through the yard of the lettuce depot and the doggy swimming pool. past the caravans and right up to where the solar farm is. walked over to the trig.

Thankfully outside new solar farm. New line of trees (between solar farm and ditch edge on which trig stands) may make access more difficult in future

Out and about on a very sunny morning in Bognor. Accessed up the dyke from the S, as wimped out of coming through the lettuce farm / dog swimming pool! Should have done, however, as the track has been upgraded to support the construction of the adjacent massive solar array. Pillar safe and sound, metal cap shallow letters, E s/hole open, otherwise exc condition, surrounded by lovely primroses and a red admiral butterfly.

In this area briefly, and just enough time to locate this trigpoint on the Sussex flatlands, not too far from Aldingbourne Rife. Cap in place with indented lettering; in fine condition.

Parked at the 'Works' in Shripney, walked past workers' caravan site to trig. Located on W side of dyke surrounded by tall grass. Cleared some vegetation. Original cap; rear sight hole open; base becoming exposed at rear. 360deg uninspiring farmland views.

I Parked in the "Works" on the 25k OS map to the East it appears to be a caravan site for immigrant farm workers judging by the collection of Polish and eastern European cars parked there, I parked along side and took the path from there along to the dyke then over to pillar, felt a bit tresspassy, but had no problems, despite there being several farm vehicles about. Pillar is in good condition and located on bank of dyke, farmland views.

Easy to get to, visible from the lane that runs near by.

Situated on bank of ditch amongst flat arable fields, close to track that passes caravan park. Remains of paint so weathered it could have been white or grey. Retains plug, shallow indented lettering.

Easiest access is due north along the drainage ditch from road corner where there is parking. Pillar is west of ditch. Plug with indented lettering.
